General Questions

Gamine is a word of French origin meaning, “girl with a mischievous, boyish charm.” I chose this name because I believe this represents me and our style as hair and makeup artists perfectly. I may look like a girly girl but get to know to me and you will quickly realise my style, personality and humour is anything but.

Yes. This would be quoted on an hourly rate rather than per head to accommodate your needs.

Yes, they are. Please inform your MUA if you are allergic or have reacted to latex before.

This is what trials are for. You may discuss any concerns with your MUAs and they will do test patches during your trial to ensure no reactions occur.

We sure do. We travel to all areas of Australia, Italy and Indonesia. For pricing and further details, please contact us to discussed customised travel and accommodation solutions.

Unfortunately, at this time we do not do either. We would be happy to recommend other creatives and therapists who we personally use.

Yes, we most certainly are! Our organisation provides equality of services and care to everyone, regardless of people’s age, gender, race, religion or sexual orientation. Love is love to us and what’s better than having two beautiful brides?

We estimate 45 minutes for hair per person and 60 minutes per person for makeup. Isabella will write you up a Wedding Day Schedule to ensure there are no clashes and the day runs smoothly.

Payment & Booking Questions

You may request a quote at any time but be aware that prices change as we do not make bookings more than 12 months in advance and therefore may not be accurate if your wedding is 18 months away.

We take bookings up to 12 months in advance.

We start with a quote so send us an enquiry and provide as much detail about the morning of your wedding and the services you require. Isabella will be in contact to discuss your needs further and send you through a WIP – Wedding Information Pack. To secure your dates, we require a 25% deposit of the services and the quote signed. Once that is completed, we are all ready to go.

Cash, bank deposit and bank transfers are all accepted. If paying by cash, we ask that you provide the correct amount as we do not always have change available.

There is a form of progressive payments tailored to each client. You are required to pay a deposit to secure your dates. At the time of your consult and (each) trial you are required to pay for the services and finally the remaining total is required the week of your wedding. A payment schedule will be issued to you and we ask that you follow it and make payments only when scheduled. If services total to $1200 or more, a 6 – 8 week payment plan can be tailored to you. No, you are not required or expected to tip any of our stylists however if you choose to do so, it will be accepted graciously with gratitude. Easy Weddings have a monthly competition where you could win an iPad Mini by reviewing 10 of your suppliers.

All deposits and payments for services carried out are non-refundable. Therefore, any monies paid to Gamine Dynasty are forfeited by the client. Should you cancel the services within 30 days of the wedding date, the full amount of the accepted quote will be required.

If for any reason you would like to change the date of your wedding day booking, an administration fee of $50 will be charged provided three months or more notice from the original date is supplied by the client and the new dates are available.  If less than three months notice is given by the client, our cancellation policy is followed (loss of 25% deposit) and a new booking deposit will be charged to secure the new date. If the new dates are unavailable and three months or more notice was supplied by the client, the cancellation policy is followed.

We estimate that each trial will take up to 90 minutes to complete. This gives us time to go through your ideas and try out the style as we would on the day.
